Why these rules exist
FogoLive is two strangers on camera, one private call at a time. That format only works when both people feel safe enough to stay, so these guidelines draw the lines that keep calls worth having. They apply to every user, guest or registered, from the first second of the first match.
What a good call looks like
Be a person you would not skip. Say hi, keep your clothes on, treat a language barrier as a game rather than a wall, and remember the other side owes you nothing — not their time, not their socials, not a second call. The skip button exists so nobody has to negotiate an exit; using it early is normal here, not rude.
Hard lines that end access
Some behavior is not a gray area: anything involving minors in any way; harassment, threats, hate or targeted abuse; unwanted sexual exposure or demands; scams, solicitation, or pushing people toward off-platform payments; impersonation; and illegal content of any kind. Cross one of these and the account is gone, and where the law requires it we report to the authorities.
Recording the other person is banned
You may not screen-record, photograph, or redistribute another user without their clear consent — not for a compilation, not for a prank channel, not for blackmail, not at all. A private call is private in both directions. We cannot stop a determined phone camera pointed at a screen, which is exactly why the rule carries the strongest enforcement we have: verified violations mean a permanent ban.
Reports reach humans
Every call has a report button, and reports are reviewed by human moderators with the session context attached. Moderators can warn, suspend, or permanently remove accounts, and repeat patterns get recognized across sessions. False reporting to harass someone is itself a violation. If a call goes wrong, the sequence is simple: skip first, then report — protect yourself, then protect the next person.
Your half of a safe call
Guidelines bind the platform and the crowd; your own habits protect you personally. Keep sharing at first-name depth until someone earns more, keep documents and street views out of frame, and treat any push to move to another app or send money as a reason to leave, not a milestone. Our is FogoLive safe post walks the full boundary, and the live video chat safety guide covers habits that work on any platform.
Enforcement and appeals
Moderation decisions weigh the report, the session context, and the account’s history. If you believe an action against your account was a mistake, email [email protected] with the details and a human will re-read the case. These guidelines may be updated as the community grows; the current version always lives on this page.
