How FogoLive handles information when you use browser-based one-on-one video chat — camera and microphone access, guest sessions, cookies, payments, analytics, and the controls that stay with you.
FogoLive is a one-on-one live video chat that runs entirely in your browser — nothing to download, free to start. This policy covers what the service touches when you open a page, take a match, buy coins, or write to us. Where lawyers would bury the point, we just say it.
A guest can take a first match with no account at all, so the starting cost in data is close to zero. If you create an account, we keep what you type in — a login, a display name, your settings. If you buy coins, we keep the order record (item, date, amount in USD) so your balance and your purchase history stay accurate. If you email [email protected], we keep the conversation so we can actually answer it.
A video match needs your camera and microphone, and the permission prompt comes from your browser — not from us. Your browser shows an indicator while the camera is live, and you can revoke access in its settings whenever you like. Closing the tab ends everything. Video and audio inside a call exist to connect the two people in it; FogoLive does not archive your calls into a library.
Keeping a live matching service fast and clean requires some technical data: browser and device type, a rough region read from your IP address, session timing, and product events like taps, matches and skips. Reports and the context around them are processed so human moderators can review flagged behavior. This is operational data — it runs the platform, it is not a dossier, and it is not sold.
We use cookies and local storage for plain housekeeping: restoring your session between visits, remembering preferences, and blocking fraud and bots. Analytics cookies tell us which pages people read and where they leave, which is how pages like our live video chat guide get better. You can block cookies in your browser; the site still loads, though staying signed in may stop working.
Coin purchases are processed by third-party payment providers. FogoLive receives a confirmation and an order reference — your full card number never reaches our servers. Every price is displayed in USD before you confirm, and what we retain is the order record described above, nothing beyond it.
We measure traffic and product usage with third-party analytics, including Google Analytics. These partners receive pseudonymous identifiers and aggregate event data under their own privacy terms. They do not receive your camera feed, your conversations, or anything that identifies the person you were matched with.
Inside a call, the other person sees whatever your camera shows and hears whatever you say — treat that as visible to them, because it is. Outside your calls, other users cannot browse your account details. If you follow each other while signed in, you can reconnect through your call history and messages, and that is the full extent of it. We do not sell personal data; we share it only with the providers that run the platform (hosting, payments, analytics) under contract, or when the law requires it.
Account and order records are kept while your account exists and for the period afterward needed to handle disputes, fraud prevention and legal duties; data without a real purpose is deleted or anonymized. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your data — email [email protected] and say which part of FogoLive your request concerns. FogoLive is for people aged 18 or older, and we do not knowingly hold data from minors. Any update to this policy replaces this page; continuing to use the site after an update means you accept it.
